The other night I came across an article about the U.S Navy’s struggle to keep up with ship maintenance because of not only limited personnel, but very limited “free time” when they are not committed to deployments and patrols.

I started thinking………”There’s a blog……..there’s always a blog..!” In the “Flash Back” post below, I recount how a low level “yardbird” destroyed an entire One Billion Dollar, U.S. Navy Submarine; all because he wanted to go home early on a Friday from the shipyard.

Maybe Flash Back Friday could be a “new thing” for us?
