This year, I will be doing “something new.” I have chosen a “theme.” I will be blogging about biking adventures. This will include riding tales, travel, stories, absurdity, insanity, adventure, and hopefully a little humor and nonsense mixed in; my favorite topics.

Michelle was the one who told me about this place.
Madonna del Ghisallo, Magreglio
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madonna_del_Ghisallo
There is a shrine atop of a mountain road. Magreglio near Lake Como in Italy. Michelle climbed this road with some friends on bikes. She sent some pictures. She also told “us” in a post that La Madonna del Ghisallo was the patron saint of cyclists.
Being clever (translation; smart ass), I responded back to Michelle; “M, if there really is a patron saint of Cyclists, shouldn’t that road be a lot less steep and easier to climb?”
Michelle, being extremely clever herself, responded immediately;
“Ah yeah!! Why do you think you need a Patron Saint!”
Moral of the story; One-if you’re going to climb mountains on a bike, get all the help you can, and Two- don’t get too clever with women who can climb mountains on bikes!
